2026 Supporting Cast Dance Auditions

Dancers will audition for the 2026 production of The Creole Nutcracker. Performers of ALL levels ages 7 to Adult are welcome! No experience needed. Registration is required.

Dancers will audition by age group.

Ages 7-9 will audition in the style(s) of Ballet and African.

Ages 10-12 will  audition in the style(s) of Ballet, African, and Jazz. 

Ages 13+ will audition in the style(s) of Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, and African. 

 

Shoes/Attire Needed

All are asked to wear form fitting clothes, leotard & tights preferred for Ballet.

Ballet- Ballet shoes and anyone 13+ with Pointe experience should bring Pointe shoes.

African - bare feet

Jazz - Jazz shoes preferred but bare feet acceptable. Anyone 13+ with character shoes should bring them. 

Hip Hop - Tennis shoes

 

Lead Role Auditions

Following supporting cast auditions qualified dancers will be invited to lead role auditions.

 

 Friday July 31, 2026

Ages 7yrs-9yrs: 4:00pm-5:30pm

Ages 10yrs-12yrs 6:00pm-8:30pm

 

Saturday August 1, 2026 

Ages 13-15 10:00am-12:30pm

Ages 16+ 1:00pm-3:30pm

Make Up Auditions 

We HIGHLY  recommend attending the July 29th and August 1st audition, but if you will be out of town you can attend make up auditions. See times below. 

Friday August 7, 2026 

Ages 7-9 5:00pm

Ages 10-12 6:00pm

Ages 13 + 7:00pm
