2024 Supporting Cast Dance Auditions

Dancers will audition for the 2024 production of The Creole Nutcracker. Performers of ALL levels ages 7 to Adult are welcome! No experience needed. Registration is required.

 

 Saturday  July 27, 2023

Ages 13+: 10:00am

Sunday July 28, 2024

Ages 7yrs-9yrs: 2:00pm-3:30pm

Ages 10yrs-12yrs 4:30pm

Dancers will audition by age group.

Ages 7-9 will audition in the style(s) of Ballet and African.

Ages 10-12 will  audition in the style(s) of Ballet, African, and Jazz. 

Ages 13+ will audition in the style(s) of Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, and African. 

 

Shoes/Attire Needed

All are asked to wear form fitting clothes, leotard & tights preferred for Ballet.

Ballet- Ballet shoes and anyone 13+ with Pointe experience should bring Pointe shoes.

African - bare feet

Jazz - Jazz shoes preferred but bare feet acceptable. Anyone 13+ with character shoes should bring them. 

Hip Hop - Tennis shoes

 

Lead Role Auditions

Following supporting cast auditions qualified dancers will be invited to lead role auditions.

Make Up Auditions 

We HIGHLY  recommend attending the July 27th and 28th audition, but if you will be out of town you can attend make up auditions. See times below. 

Friday August 2, 2024 

Ages 7-9 5:00pm

Ages 10-12 6:00pm

Ages 13 + 7:00pm
